Hello Beauty Lovers. Nail polish has been my number one favorite beauty item since I started growing my own natural nails 6 years ago. My collections has grown so big that I have every color in the rainbow and then some to choose from. If you follow my instagram @AntoniettaNacc you will see I swatch all kinds of nail polish daily.
Today I am here to review the Butter London nail polishes. Butter London was kind enough to send me two nail polishes to review and try out. They sent me this beautiful coral shade called Trout Pout, and they also sent me a silvery glitter shade called Posh Bird.
When I applied them, the formula of Trout Pout seemed a bit thicker than Posh Bird is. Trout Pout is very opaque which is great because I love creamy nail polishes. They are a bit trickier to work with but once you get the hang of it, the look of them on your nails are amazing. Posh Bird is opaque as well but because its glitter base it is not as creamy as the Trout Pout.
The wear ability with these polish are great. Usually with other polishes I will see chipping on the second day but with Butter London the longevity of the polish is very good. With Butter London polishes I don't start to see chipping until my 4th or 5th day, if I make it that long with the same color. Normally by the third day I will change colors because that is just who I am, I like a variety of color in my life.
The packaging is very sleek and sophisticated. The square top comes off and underneath is a rounder handle to maneuver when applying the polish.
The only thing I would say is on the down side to this polish brand is the cost. For 1 bottle of polish which is 11mL or 4 fluid Oz is about $17.00. That is absolutely crazy. The product is great, but the price is a bit steep especially for us woman who are on a budget, which is the majority of the first world women in the world.
All in all these are great polishes. If you have the money to try one out, go pick up one. You can find them online or at your local Bay Department store for those who are in Canada. Below is a couple links where you can purchase these polishes if you are interested in trying them out.

Lush Sea Spray Hair Mist Review
Hello Beauty lovers. I am sorry I have been missing in action for a couple days but it has been another one of those over the top busy weeks at my full time job.
Any ways I am here to tell you my thoughts on the Lush Sea Spray Hair Mist. I had done a Lush haul for myself a few weeks back and this was one of the products I was interested in trying with the hot weather around. I have been trying to use less heat tools on my hair as much as possible for the time being since I recently just trimmed my hair and re touched my roots with color.
At first when I bought this spray I thought its a perfect little bottle to test it out. 100ml to be exact. After using it just once, I fell in love with it. The scent is so fresh, reminds me of the beach. When I spray it in my wet hair it keeps the beach waves that I had going on from braiding my hair. Some people use it on dry hair too, but I prefer applying it with wet hair. I was very impressed with it. You need to be careful not to spray it too close to your roots, as this product does have some essential oils so you don't want your hair to get oily too fast. Focus spraying it mid shaft of the hair to the ends. The formula is light weight so it does not feel heavy on your hair at all. The sea salts in the spray make your hair feeling soft and healthy which is great for women who are taking a break from the heat tools.
The only down side to this lovely product for me is that it only comes in a 100ml bottle. So when I use it for a week straight I'm down to my last bit. Thank god I have a back up. I would love for Lush to make them in the bigger bottles. The 100ml bottle costs about $12. That is not too bad for a hair product at all. I have seen the hair products go more than $20 so this price is affordable especially if you are willing to just try it for the first time.
If you have already tried it please let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

*New* Nair Brazilian Spa Clay 3 step facial hair removal Review
Hey ya'll! I wanted to check in with another quick review for you ladies and gents. I have a Charity event to go to this evening in honor of my 19 year old cousin Robert Naccarato who we lost in a car accident 9 years ago. After he tragically passed away, My uncle, his father/mother/brother and sister created a charity event in his name to give back to the Toronto Sick Kids Children's hospital for kids with childhood cancers and other diseases.
I have attended this event every year accept for last year. I am going again this year, and in my heart I am going in honor of Miss Talia Castellano who passed away at the age of Thirteen year old on July 16, 2013 from childhood cancer. She is known as a Beauty Guru on YouTube as TaliaJoy18. An amazing inspiration.
Every year this event raises thousands of dollars to support the research for the cure at the Sick Kids Children's hospital in Toronto, Canada. To date we have raised a total of $767 570.00 over the last 5 years, not including this current year which will only increase that number.
If you are interested in this Charity or you want to take a look at the event, please follow the link below:
http://www.focuscellars.net/robert/
Now getting back to my review, I recently purchase the Nair Brazilian Spa Clay 3 step facial hair removal kit in hopes that I would be able to remove the stubborn fuzzes on the sides of my face and a few noticeable hairs around under my chin before I attend this Charity event. Gotta look good in public. Now girls I don't care how old you are, but once in your life you may come across this situation, and every woman needs to know the good and bad of products to get rid of those brutal hairs in places they shouldn't growing.
So I purchased this kit at the local drug store on sale for $16.99. It comes with 3 products:
Step 1: Nourishing balm: a gentile balm that conditions and prepares skin, so your skin will be less irritated after application
Step 2: Removal Product: is a sensitive formula cream effectively removed unwanted hair.
Step 3: Moisturize: is a moisturizer that re balances and replenishes the skin.
So this little kit comes with a pamphlet of simple directions to follow. I was a bit nervous as to how my face would react since that area is one of the most sensitive areas on your body. But in all it was a decent experience. I applied the step one balm to the area of hair I wanted removed. Then I applied the removal cream on top, and I waited 10 minutes. The box says to wait 7 minutes but 10 minutes is the max. So I went with the max since my hairs a stubborn little ******* (Bleep). I washed off the product once the 10 minutes were up with a face cloth, and it did pretty well in removing the unwanted hairs.
However, once I removed the product my skin was slightly red and irritated on the area of application. Personally, I don't think the balm aka Step 1 does anything, since my skin was irritated anyways. But I did use the step 3 moisturizer cream afterward and that worked wonders! My skins pH balance went back to normal and the redness and irritation went away in a matter of minutes. Now I know why they included that step 3. It helps!
The box advises that you can get at lead 16 uses out of one kit, which is a rough estimate of about four months worth. Since you should only be using it on the face, and those areas are smaller than the rest of your body, then I think it may last a tiny bit longer then 16 uses. The smell is not too bad at all, I was impressed with the subtitle scent it gave off. Which is a bonus.
Anyways, all I can say is, this is a great at home product for me. I would rather do this than wax, as waxing irritates my skin a lot more then this, and its more cost efficient to do this at home, rather then go to a salon. Keep in mind you don't need only use this on the side of your face, you can also use this on your upper lip, eyebrows, pretty much any where on sensitive facial areas.

Nivea Pure and Natural Lip Balm
Sorry I have been missing in action, I have been super busy at work and with the boyfriend. I wanted to stop in and give you all a quick review on the Nivea pure and natural lip balm in the scent mint and minerals.
When I saw these at the store I thought to myself "yikes I am not too sure how these will turn out". But I decided to take the plunge and purchase one out of the few scents that they had available.
I love this balm. The packaging is awesome, I love my lip balms in a tube form, makes it easy for applying quick and not messy. The scent is mint and minerals which is perfect. The scent is not strong at all. It is very subtle and has the light cooling sensation on the lips when it's applied. Nothing drastic which is nice.
I love using this in the summer time at night since the formula of the product is very light weight and not heavy compared to Vaseline lip therapy.
You can purchase this lip balm at any local drug store. The cost is very inexpensive which is great. They range between $2 - $4 depending where you buy them.
Until next time beauty lovers ❤

Current Empties June 2013
This time of month is so cleansing lol and ladies what I mean by that is seeing the box filled with empty beauty products you have been working on to finish. YES it feels like I have accomplished something LOL. I bet you all feel the same way when you work hard to finish a product. So lets just jump in, I will be writing a small review of each product below so you can get an idea if the product is worth to try or not! Enjoy!
2. St. Ives Restore 24hr Moisture Advanced Body Moisturizer
- Love this moisturizer for the body. When you apply it you can feel how enriched it is with minerals and vitamins. It felt heavenly on the skin. Will definitely purchase this one again. The formula was not heavy, more on the light side and it did not leave a film on my skin at all. You can find this at any drug store/Wal-Mart around your area.
3.Peter Thomas Roth Mega Rich Body Wash
- Loved this body wash. It has a sweet citrus scent and it was great for the morning showers when you need to wake up more. Loved the moisture it gave my skin, not drying at all. This product says it has Micro-beads rich with Vitamins A,C,E and pro vitamin B5. Love Love Loved it! I got this as a sample in a purchase I made last year so I think I will be on the hunt for this one in full size. Not to sure of the price since it was a sample but if I do find it I will definitely let you guys know.
4.Bath and Body Works Anti Bacterial Hand Lotion in Cucumber Melon
- I enjoyed this hand lotion more at night. I have one in the same scent in purse, but I find I don't use lotions that are in my purse as often as I would use them if they were sitting by my night stand. It has a cucumber citrus scent to it, but its very light and not over powering which I enjoy more because sometimes when hand lotions are too over powering they make you feel like you just had the wind blown out of ya . I would be more interested in checking out Bath and Body Works other lotions as well. So I will get back to you on the other scents. So far Cucumber Melon is good. I would say its a very fresh spring/summer scent.
5. L'oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara in Black
- I have to say I enjoyed this mascara more in the winter. Why you may ask is because I find this mascara has a tendency to flake on me in the warmer months and it drives me crazy. You know how annoying it is to check yourself out in the bathroom at work and you see these black fallout flacks under your eyes from the mascara?! Makes me look like I totally skipped out on the concealer which I DID NOT! I would say I wont be re purchasing this any time soon. Possibly in the winter but we will see.
6. Lancome Bi Facial Eye makeup remover
- This is another travel size I had as a points gift at Shopper Drug Mart for those of you who live in Canada. Love this eye makeup remover. I had this in my last empties and I cant say enough great things about it. Gentle on the eyes, no stinging, and takes your make up off with one swipe. So easy to work with. The only down fall is a regular size bottle of this goes for around $30 and I just cant seem to spend that much on an eye makeup remover since I go through eye make up removers so quickly. But if you got the money and you can splurge then I say go for it and try it out, you wont be disappointed.
7. Burt's Bees Honey lip balm
- I love this lip balm. It is all natural ingredients, and smells delicious. I love balms that come in a tube form because they are easy to carry with you and apply without having to get your fingers all messy and yucky.
I have one of these babies in every place I spend a lot of time at, my office desk, my car, my night table, my home office, and my purse in case I am no wear near any of the mentioned above locations LOL. Don't hate I am a girl who needs to keep her lips hydrated no matter what the season. It ain't pretty when your lips look like they were scraped against concrete if you know what I mean ladies.
8. Urban Decay Original Primer Potion
- I definitely enjoyed this primer potion. I had the sample size with the original formula. The only thing I didn't like was the packaging of it. Came with a doe applicator and the bottle was a hard plastic you can not squeeze. I heard though that the new formula of the Urban Decay Primer potions come in a squeeze tube which is great! Looking forward to getting that one once I finish my smash box one.
9. Shwartzkopf Bonacure Hair Therapy: Repair Rescue Intense Leave in Treatment
- I got this travel size as a sample at the Hair show a few months ago. Let me just say, AMAZING. This stuff saved, "rescued" my hair and its ends. It fights off split ends like you wont believe. It comes in a spray form so you spray it in your hair after you shower and towel dry your hair. Love the packaging so convenient. I am on the look out for this in full size so once I find it will let you know the price and if I can find a dupe for it, which so far I cant!
10. Dove Cool Moisture facial cleanser
- This was my favorite facial cleanser EVER! Until sadly I found out that they discontinued the Dove Facial products. I was heart broken. I thought I may have a back up but I cant seem to find it so I will be on the hunt for another great facial cleanser. This cleanser was amazing, kept my skin moisturized without making it oily. Its breaking my heart to see this bottle finish. *tear*
11. Tresemme Dry Shampoo for oily/Straight to normal hair
- This was the first time I ever tried a Dry Shampoo and it was meh. It's not bad, but its not spectacular either. I have ventured off to try another Dry Shampoo and will let you all know my thoughts once I form an opinion on the new one I purchased. If I needed a dry shampoo and this one was available to be and closest to me then I wouldn't mind using it, but its not my favorite.
12. Warren Tricomi pure strength smoothing lotion for your hair
- Got this at Winners for $6 and it is suppose to smooth away flyways and strengthen your hair. But I normally use it just to smooth away the breakage I have at the top of my head. Not bad, but not spectacular either. I would use it again and will use it again since I have a back of it. :)
13. Lush Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask
- My first time trying the Lush fresh face masks and they are great! This one in particular is very hydrating which is exactly what I need in the Summer warm months. I spend lots of time in the sun so my skin can be drying, De hydrated and this mask helps bring back the moisture. AMAZING. Definitely a repurchase.
14. Scented Candle in ocean scent
1. Delon+ Premium Cotton Rounds
- I had these cotton rounds in my May empties and I will always have these in my empties because I go through these like water. They are the best cotton rounds to remove make up and they have Aloe Vera and Vitamin B5 in them to help with the hypoallergenic feature they have. I get these in bulk at Costco for about $15. The best thing ever for make up removal especially on the eyes.

Mac Paint Pot
Sometimes a girl just doesn't want to use a traditional eye primer and so she will turn to her trusty dependable MAC Paint pots. These paint pots are basically creamy eye shadows you can you as a base or on their own. My absolute favorite (although I own I few colors) is the MAC paint pot in "Painterly". This paint pot is a flesh toned shade that you can use with any look. It's long wearing, doesn't crease and the best part it that it's very versatile !
The packaging is in a cute little tub that is perfect to work with using a shadow brush, any shadow brush that you prefer.
These paint pots range between $18 to $24 depending where you are in North America and they last a long time because its one of those products that a little bit goes a long way when applying it to the eyelids.
My favorite way to use these are as eye primers before I start my eyeshadow look. But on those days where I don't want heavy make up on, I definitely use this as a one shade eye shadow to even out my eye lid skin tone. It just gives you that natural beautiful look as if you don't need make up :) Thats right ladies don't tell me that you never wish that you have that type of look because we all wish it at one point or another and that's perfectly healthy to so don't fret ;)
The only thing you need to be careful with is if you do purchase these after you use them make sure you tighten the lid on them so they don't dry out!
They also have other colors and shades so go check them out at your local Mac counter or on line. Below is a link :

June 2013 Beauty Favorites
I didn't want to wait too long so here is my June beauty favorites hope you enjoy these monthly favorites as much as I do! This month I did not have as many as I did in May but they are still the products I have been enjoying last month.
1. Vaseline Spray & Go Body Moisturizer in Cocoa Radiant
- This spray and go moisturizer has been my go to "lotion" for after showering and before bed. This sprays out of a aerosol can and feels so light on the skin. My skin soaks up all the moisture right away so I do not feel greasy or slick after application. Great product. You can find this at any drug store/Wal Mart at an affordable cost.
2. The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot lotion
- Loving this foot lotion this time of year. Where I live, in the summer time its hot and humid so the cooling sensation of this lotion on the feet is very relaxing. I usually use this every night before bed so I am not walking on the floor since it is a thicker lotion you can slip and slide if you are not careful. This lotion does contain coco butter which is why is can be a little slippery at first. Night time treatment is the best time for this product. Love it! You can get this at the Body Shop for around $16 and bottle last you a long time.
3. OPI Original Nail Envy
- I was skeptical about this product at first, but given time in using it I have noticed a huge difference in my finger nail health. After using half a bottle I am noticing now that my nails are not spliting as much as they used to. I use this as a base coat (normally 2 coats before nail polish). Honestly this product surprised me in a good way! Now my nails are at a state where they don't break easily like they used to since I have been using this. Magic in a bottle :)
4. Burt's Bees Honey lip balm
- Pretty straight forward here. It is an all natural company so their lip balm is one of the best on the market. Love it in the tube form so that you don't need to stick your finger inside a tub. You can find these at any drug store or local health food store. They are about $5 sometimes you can find the packages where you get 2 lip balms for $5 which is great!
5. Rimmel Scandeleyes Kohl Kajal Waterproof eyeliner in Nude
- This is my go to everyday eyeliner for my waterline during the day. Its a perfect nude color for the waterline and it makes your daytime eye look so much more natural rather than using a white waterline eyeliner. This product you can buy at any drug store for less than $7.
6. MAC Select Cover up in NW25
- I am loving this cover up this time of year (not just the month) because it is a light weight concealer that will mask those dark circles under the eyes. This is a build able concealer as well, so for those days where you did not sleep that much the night before then you can use a second layer if needed. I would have to say this is my favorite concealer for the summer months in the heat and humidity.
7. Maybelines Dream Bouncy Blush in Peach Satin
- When I first bought this blush I was skeptical about it. The texture of a cream blush sort of freaked me out. But once I began to wear it and play with it a bit I literally fell in love with the color. This shade is the perfect spring/summer coral shade to use on your cheeks. You can go very light or apply it darker in a gradual way with your blush brush. (But I personally love applying this blush with my contour brush on the apples of my cheeks). It is very affordable at your local drug store for around $5- $7 depending on where you go to buy it.

Nyx Xtreme Lip Creams
This product I am about to elaborate on is phenomenal. I can not get enough of these lip products. The Nyx Xtreme Lip Creams are one of my ultimate favorite lip products ever. I had heard about these over YouTube. What else is new? Anyway so I went to my local Target (since that's the only place I could find where they sold Nyx products in my area) and purchased 6 colors of my own :)
(In order as shown in the photo below from left to right) Nude Peach Fuzz, Dolly Girl, Strawberry Jam, Buttery Nude, Pinky Nude, and finally Candy Land. These are fabulous colors and so very pigmented! They are basically a lip stick in a cream consistency. AMAZING. You can apply this once in the morning, have breakfast, drink your coffee, then a few hours later have lunch and it still be on those beautiful lips of yours! I could not believe the lasting power these babies have.
They really don't have a scent to them, so if you are one for non scented products this one is great. They also don't bleed. So you can use these without a lip liner if you are in a hurry which is very convenient on those rush days out the door.
The price is not too bad. They are basically drugstore prices between $7.99- $8.99 range. Which is great especially for those budgets that we are trying to stick to, right ladies? ;)
Next time you are at your local Target go check these out!
