MICHAEL TODD Moisture Lite Product Review!

Ola beauties! I am hear with a product review for you all. Now I know there is some controversy with the Michael Todd brand, however, I am totally honest with you all, I pay no attention to the gossip or negative media that went on about it. I am my own person, and if I want to try a product I will try it regardless what people think of the company or not. Sorry but I live in a free country, that means we have the right to our own freedom.

Anyways, moving on. I have always been curious about trying out Michael Todd products. I have seen people speak of their products on YouTube and blogs, some people love them some people are not thrilled. So I decided to take the dive and order a bunch of Micheal Todd products with my own money and see what the hype was on these beauty products. What can I say? I am a lover of all beauty items, and it sparked my curiosity.

Introducing new skin care to my skin all at once would be torture, especially if I do not know how my skin will react. So I started off slow. I started using the Michael Todd moisture lite face moisturizer since my skin is so dry during the winter, I thought it would be great for a day time moisturizer under makeup. How I use this product is, I wash my face like I would normally do, apply toner, then apply the moisturizer lite.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this product. The scent of this product smells like freshly squeezed lemons. Reminds me of summer time. Which is nice when you are stuck in the dead of winter LOL. The formula of this product is VERY light. It is a runny consistency which I don't mind. You definitely don't need to use a lot of product on each use. Therefore the bottle will last you a long time.

The product comes with a great pump so that you don't have to dip your fingers into the product and contaminate it. The packaging is decent. The only down fall is that you can not see the product through the container so you do not know when you are running low on the product. The bottle contains 2.4 fl oz of product. Since you do not need to use a lot of it at a time, it should last you a long while.

The price, well, it's $29 for 1 bottle. Which is average price for their moisturizers on their website. I would categorize this product in the high end spectrum of beauty skin care, but on the lower end of the high end spectrum. If that makes any sense to you as it does to me.

The ingredients in the product are great. A lot of natural ingredients, such as Organic Aloe, Organic Coconut oil, Jojoba and Grape seed oils, avocado oil and vitamin E. There is a lot more great ingredients where those came from as well. Another bonus is that this product is made WITHOUT Parabens! Definitely a more natural product for those of you who are looking to go more natural with less harsh chemicals.

When applying this product on a clean face, the formula is designed to soak up into the skin immediately and provide hydration without being oily or greasy.  I just can not stand when moisturizers are greasy especially when you need to apply make up afterward, so that is a great technology in this product. No there is no SPF in this product, but I am ok with that, as I find moisturizers with SPF give a greasy finish to the skin...YUK.

I really do enjoy using this moisturizer as a day time face cream. Yes it doesn't have SPF but that is not the end of the world, since most if not all of my foundations and BB creams all come with some sort of SPF in it. Therefore I don't need it in my moisturizer. But that is just my preference.

Quick Review: Boscia Tsubaki Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask

Ola beauty lovers! With the colder weather approaching my city quickly, that means drier skin. I try to keep up drinking water for an overall health goal, but sometimes we just get so busy we forget to drink those bottles of water on the go.

That's why I have been trying a whole crap load of hydrating masks, quick hydrating and over night hydrating masks. Good news is my skin LOVES the hydrating masks I have been testing.

Today I am going to tell you about Boscia Tsubaki Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask. This mask was given to me as a couple samples from the Sephora girls. Now let me just say this was the first hydrating mask EVER I had tried at the time, so I was a tad bit nervous on how my skin would react, if it did react in a bad way.
I am sure we all get nervous when we try a new skin care product with the fear of it screwing up your calm skin at the time. Don't lie I see you nodding in agreement.

So I cleansed my face in the evenings before bed, and I slathered this mask on my bare skin. The scent is very nice, calming I would describe it. The texture of the mask is creamy smooth, very enjoyable to apply to the face. This mask can be left on your face over night, and depending on how dehydrated your skin is, your skin can soak it all up throughout the night, or you may have some light residue left in the morning. Well, my skin soaked this puppy up! Not a drop left on my skin in the morning. It was amazing! My skin looks so plump and rejuvenated that I was impressed with this product.

So a few product facts, price? Well it is on the expensive side. $42.00 for 2.8 oz at Sephora.
However I think that is the only down side to this product. The price.

On an ingredient perspective, the product is made WITHOUT Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates.

Some decent ingredients the product is actually made with are:
-Tsubaki (Camellia) Oil: Firms, hydrates, and protects against free radical damage.
-Allantoin: Provides hydration and supports natural cell renewal with natural anti-bacterial and deep-cleansing benefits.
-Wakame: Prevents fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of firmness by replenishing protein, helping to support natural collagen production.
-Rice Bran Oil: Reduces dark spots and increases micro-circulation for soft, glowing skin.

I have to say this is fabulous winter mask for hydration. Definitely will be one of the ones I purchase in full size this season! Thumbs up in my book!

Until next time beauty lovers!
